Music
Music is taught at KS3 and as an option choice at GCSE. Students composing and listening skills are developed through the study of a range of musical genres. Students develop their personal learning and thinking skills through studying music and, in particular, their ability to be effective members of a team.

Statement of Intent
The aim of our music curriculum is to give the students the opportunity and ability to express themselves through musical performance and composition. Students will gain a deep understanding on how music forms an important part of culture around the world; with the ability to reflect on the nature of the society and era in which it was made.
