Our Staff
The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) operates with our Headteacher (Executive Headteacher for GUMAT), 3 Deputy Headteachers (DHT), 4 Assistant Headteachers (AHT) and 3 Associate AHT. SLT responsibilities are reviewed annually to facilitate, where appropriate, broader professional experience and preparation for Headship.
Each year group is overseen by a Head of Year and a Deputy Head of Year. A member of the SLT is attached to each year group. Learning Mentors and Teaching Assistants are also allocated to a particular year. Heads of Year form part of the Pupil Progress Team and work closely with Lead Teachers to ensure that students are well supported and make good progress.
Senior Leadership Team
Our well-established and experienced Senior Leadership Team is committed to making the school the best it can be. By providing clear direction and setting an example that engages, inspires and motivates, they have created an environment where students and staff are happy, feel valued and are focused on achieving their potential.
