Pastoral Care
Tutors meet with their pupils each day. They monitor the online systems that accompany the class and can immediately identify pupils who have not completed homework or have misbehaved. Small group tutorials take place each week so that the tutor can go through exercise books, look at and sign diaries and listen to pupils’ concerns.
Heads of Year organise year activities the Personal, Social, Health Education Programme. They run assemblies at which rewards are given to those achieving well.
Student Services
This department keeps track of your child. We are the first point of call for pupils during school hours. We are here to provide first aid and other advice. We also organise casual admissions for the school.
Disabled Access
All areas on the ground floor are accessible by wheelchairs and the Sports Centre has a lift so it is fully accessible to wheelchair users. There are disabled toilet facilities in all areas of the school building. The main three story building has no disabled access to the first and second floors. The timetable would be amended to facilitate a wheelchair user.
